LPN Certified One-On-One Coach
I was a cheerleader from grade school to high school. After graduating and attending LPN school, I found myself overwhelmed and gaining weight. Along with the stress and "growing up" I didn't know where to turn for a healthy lifestyle. Fast forward to finding my first big girl job as a nurse and joining a 24-hour gym. I made it part of my routine to go to the gym after work most days but didn't really know what I was doing. I was the girl who went to the gym to socialize because 1. I didn't know what I was doing and 2. I wasn't comfortable enough to ask for help. Taylor introduced me to functional fitness and I thought I would give it a try and I've been hooked ever since. The structure and environment were just what I needed. Come to class, do the workout with people who cheer you on, be part of an awesome community, and go home. Functional Fitness became part of my identity and daily routine. Now as a first-time mother and a stay-at-home mother at that, I wanted to find my "purpose" again; outside of being a mom. That's where coaching came into play for me. I love seeing the athletes come to my class and getting to share that time with them.
My purpose is because my health matters. My physical, mental and emotional health is important. Fitness makes me happy and Move304 is my environment to express myself and leave it all "in the gym". I also enjoy watching others succeed and reach personal records.
